Ruth Jones (born January 1967, in Bridgend) is a Welsh actress and writer, best known for co-scripting and starring in the multi-award winning hit TV comedy Gavin and Stacey. She is also known for her comedy performances in Little Britain,the cult hit Nighty Nightand Saxondale plus for dramatic roles in many other high profile TV dramas such as Jimmy McGovern's The Street with Timothy Spall (via Wikipedia)
